ABOUT
Naomi Baker is a Director Producer based in Toronto, Ontario and co-owner of Fifth Line Productions Inc. As a director, her style is emerging through every project she creates. She was awarded Best Canadian Short Film and Best First Time Filmmaker at the 2022 Canadian Cinematography Awards, for her directorial debut short documentary ‘The Islanders’. As well as Best Super Short Film at Toronto Film Week 2024 for ‘KARLA’, a narrative short shot on 16mm film that she wrote, produced and directed. Naomi is also developing her career producing narrative and branded content for clients such as KFC, East Room and Canadian artists such as Goldie Boutilier. She was chosen to be a finalist producer out of a pool of over 900 applicants through the 2024 Coca-Cola Refreshing Films Program. As the only Canadian team, she and her directing partner underwent a 6-month intensive mentorship program for commercial production, resulting in the 30 second branded spot for Coca-Cola called ‘Auditorium 4.’
